What is Test X Core?
By the time men reach the age of 30, a decline in their testosterone levels becomes almost inevitable. In most cases, it will be barely noticeable at first, but then you start spotting problems with your performance physique, and libido. This is where you start thinking about safe ways to raise the level of testosterone in the body, and that is exactly what Test X Core promises to do for you.
Test X Core is a dietary supplement designed to boost the production of testosterone in a natural way. The product is manufactured by a company called Phenom Health, but when we tried to learn more about it, our research came back empty. There is no official website of the company or the supplement or other important info about the company, and even their Twitter account seems to be completely abandoned, which definitely seems like a red flag to us.
In the official marketing materials, the manufacturer of Test X Core promises just three key benefits from regularly taking the supplement:
- Increase the level of testosterone in the system;
- Give you more stamina, energy, and vitality in and out of the gym
- Boost your sex drive and sexual performance
Those are the claims you will see in the majority of TestX Core reviews, and to us, they look pretty standard for natural testosterone boosters.
Test X Core Ingredients
The good thing about the TestX Core ingredients is that the company behind the product chose not to use an obscure proprietary formula for the supplement, instead listing the dosage for each ingredient. The bad thing, however, is that the Test X Core formula is all over the place and contains over a dozen ingredients in small doses, which does not look very promising in terms of the anticipated effect. These are the ingredients you will find in Test X Core:
Fenugreek is one of the most popular components of testosterone boosting supplements so we are in no way surprised to see it here. Fenugreek has been found to boost the natural production of testosterone while being overall beneficial for men’s health.
L-Arginine is one of the many ingredients in Test X Core that has nothing to do with testosterone production. Instead, L-Arginine is considered to be a popular supplement among athletes that improves their performance and increases their agility.
- Panax Ginseng Root Extract
Known as one of the staples of traditional Chinese medicine, ginseng is well-known for its positive effect on testosterone production and men’s sexual health. It is also good for the mental state of modern men.
- Saw Palmetto
Saw Palmetto is believed to be a top plant for testosterone production, prostate health, and other aspects of men’s health. However, there are not enough credible studies at the moment to support those claims.
- Tongkat Ali
Tongkat Ali, which you may also know under the name of Longjack, has a proven effect on testosterone levels in men and can provide an overall boost to men’s sexual function.
- Tribulus Terrestris
Tribulus Terrestris is another ingredient that can be found in the majority of testosterone boosting supplements available today, but it has not been researched enough for us to say with confidence that it actually helps with testosterone levels.
Taurine is one of the few ingredients that we believe are out of place in a testosterone booster. Taurine has an effect similar to caffeine, whether it can increase your alertness and energy level for a short period of time but then give you the uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.
Astaxanthin is an antioxidant, which means it does not have a direct effect on the process of testosterone production. However, it may help you with preventing various diseases, although it requires to be taken in substantial doses to experience the positive effect.
In addition to those key ingredients, the formula of TestX Core contains a complex of vitamins and minerals that include zinc, magnesium, boron, and vitamins B3, B6, B12, C, and D, which do not influence the production of testosterone directly but are essential for maintaining the systems in your body.
What are Test X Core Side Effects?
Like most natural testosterone boosting supplements, Test X Core claims to have little to no side effects. However, while the lack of side effects is true for other testosterone boosters we have reviewed, TestX Core is a different story. This supplement is not as safe as it wants you to think.
The first problem with TestX Core is the fact that it contains taurine. We don’t see a single reason why it’s included in the formula — after all, TestXCore is not a nootropic supplement and does not promise a clear focus or other positive effects linked to taurine. However, the ability of taurine to temporarily raise your energy level and focus has its own side effects — namely, restlessness, jitteriness, heart palpitations, elevated pulse, and headaches.
Another commonly reported side effect of Test X Core is stomach issues, including cramps, painful bowel movements, and nausea. We even found one Test X Core review claiming that the supplement caused bloody stool, and while we cannot claim with 100% confidence that this side effect was caused by TestX Core, this is certainly something to consider.
Other side effects mentioned in TestX Core reviews mention excessive sweating, decreased performance, and poor libido, and while those conditions are in no way life-threatening, they can still significantly lower your quality of life. Moreover, it is possible that you will develop an allergy to one or more of the TestXCore ingredients, and it will be very hard to know which one as there are over a dozen of ingredients in the product’s formula.
Phenom Health, the manufacturer of Test X Core, claims that the product does not cause any side effects and that people who experience those adverse effects have been taking the supplement wrong. The product is intended to use only for men over 18 years old. You should not exceed the recommended dosage and need to wash down the pills with a large amount of water. Then, according to the company behind Test X Core, you can minimize your chance of developing any side effects.
Does Test X Core Really Work?
To find out whether TestXCore actually works, we looked at two key aspects: the formula of the supplement and the reviews from people who have already given it a try. The list of ingredients in Test X Core looks very long, but it does contain a few ingredients that do not influence the production of testosterone in any way. Plus, the dosages for several essential ingredients are too low to have any sizeable effect.
The reviews of TestX Core are also largely negative. We have encountered more than one Test X Core review claiming that the supplement not only did nothing for the author’s testosterone level and overall health, but also caused a string of side effects. Therefore, we cannot say that Test X Core works.
Test X Core Pricing
Test X Core can only be found on Amazon, which is why you should not expect discounts and money-saving deals like you would get at the official website. One bottle of TestXCore currently retails for $41.99, and with each bottle containing 60 capsules and the recommended dosage of 2 caps a day, one bottle will last you exactly for 1 month.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Test X Core safe?
Test X Core has a mostly natural formula that should not have any harsh side effects like you can get from prescription medication. However, there are a few ingredients in TestX Core that can potentially cause side effects, which is why we cannot call it 100% safe.
Is Test X Core a scam?
Test X Core does not have the usual signs of a scam and has a clear list of ingredients, which works to its advantage. However, the absence of an official website and the decision to sell the supplement only through online retailers does not make TestXCore the most reputable test booster.
How long does it take for Test X Core to work?
The time it takes for Test X Core to work depends on your age and other conditions, including your level of physical activity. However, on average, you need to take Test X Core for 6 to 8 weeks to notice any results. And even then, they will be mild at best and mostly concern your athletic performance and achievements, not your sexual health.
Where to buy Test X Core?
Since Phenom Health, the company behind Test X Core, chose not to sell the product from the official website, the only place to buy the supplement is from a few online retailers. Amazon is the most popular spot selling TestX Core, but you can also find the product from a few smaller retailers.
